give Mike a call a Mobile Marine in Monmouth Beach.
I used Dr. Gelcoat for some work after my boat a couple of winters ago. I needed some deep gouges repaired, some stainless run rail replaced, and I also replaced my factory OEM decals.
"Whitey" is the owner; he is a good guy. In fact, when I brought my boat to him for an estimate, he took the time to fix a couple of the most seriously damaged areas that risked water intrusion. Without hesistation and without charging me, he sanded out the worst areas, mixed up some resin & hardener and fixed them to make sure I could keep using the boat until the end of the Fall bass run.
He had a hispanic guy working for him at the time that did nice fiberglass and gelcoat finish work.
If you ever want to see his work, you can check out my rig anytime.

He repaired a major Gelcoat Gouge on my boat sustained rubbing against a piling when some of my odcking lines broke in a Noreaster. Can't tell that there was ever a problem. Came to the boat while in the water to provide an estimate.
Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sent you a PM.
Any other suggestions for gelcoat repair in monmouth county area? and ball park idea on what repair of minor dings go for? do they charge hourly? does it take long?
I have some spider webbing cracks that I was interested in getting repaired, and some minor dings...
SeaCraftJ2 whats the deal with Dr Gelcoat?
Mobile marine in Monmouth beach is one of the best fiberglass guys around with no job to small. He has also fixed a bunch of work of the above mentioned.
Bill,
Any luck with the sale of your boat?? Whats the next one going to be?
Eric there are 2 people that are trying to sell their boats so we can discuss a price, The next boat is going to be the 36 with twin 350s or 400s if they make it out by miami
Is the gas the reason your going with twins instead of triples?
No the boat is efficent either way Wylie made some design changes to the 36 that we really like. The boat will do 63 in the corner with twin 350s.
