I used Dr. Gelcoat for some work after my boat a couple of winters ago. I needed some deep gouges repaired, some stainless run rail replaced, and I also replaced my factory OEM decals.

"Whitey" is the owner; he is a good guy. In fact, when I brought my boat to him for an estimate, he took the time to fix a couple of the most seriously damaged areas that risked water intrusion. Without hesistation and without charging me, he sanded out the worst areas, mixed up some resin & hardener and fixed them to make sure I could keep using the boat until the end of the Fall bass run.

He had a hispanic guy working for him at the time that did nice fiberglass and gelcoat finish work.

If you ever want to see his work, you can check out my rig anytime.

He repaired a major Gelcoat Gouge on my boat sustained rubbing against a piling when some of my odcking lines broke in a Noreaster. Can't tell that there was ever a problem. Came to the boat while in the water to provide an estimate.

Mobile marine in Monmouth beach is one of the best fiberglass guys around with no job to small. He has also fixed a bunch of work of the above mentioned.

Is the gas the reason your going with twins instead of triples?

No the boat is efficent either way Wylie made some design changes to the 36 that we really like. The boat will do 63 in the corner with twin 350s.
