I would suggest Hackshaws Sportfishing, there aren't that many charter options in St. Lucia. Chris Hackshaw is second generation charter captian on the island... In my opinion they are the best on the island.

    Default St lucia

There are not many charters fishing St Lucia. The Hackshaws are probably the best. I have fished their 31' with just ok results. If you are not fishing prime season, there just isn't much on the troll and they are not set up to do anything else.

went there 2 years ago early Nov on my honeymoon....I believe the charter you're mentioning is the ONLY on St Lucia, at least the only one advertised....Booked them 2 mornings in a row---1st day, one guy caught a chicken mahi.....2nd day, I got a small (15") tuna......ALL we did was troll, and no fish besides the above mentioned were raised....Don't know if that area is in-between seasons now??? On a 3rd morning, I was able to hire a small wooden panga (that is normally hired for diving?) Convinced the guy to take me out, but I was only equipped with a light-weight travel rod; we trolled and I did get a strike on a rebel plug, but that was it.....If you really know what you're doing, and you bring some decent travel equipment, you may be able to put your own trip together.....The locals, at least in my experience, were very helpful and friendly, but there didn't seem to be a lot of knowledge of modern fishing techniques diown there....AND, there is nowhere that I could find to purchase gear on the island....On another now, at the resort I was staying (Almond Morgan Bay, west coast, near Castries), I was able to take out kayaks in the AM; used some small plastics to get some small jacks and other reef fish....While on a booze cruise, I did see what a thought was a very large barracuda breach just off the beach....Pretty cool place though; water drops off to the thousands of feet just several miles off the beach! Default Fished w/ Capt. Mikes & would go again

Fished with Cat Mikes and did well in my opinion. Did a 1/2 day charter on the 35ft Bertram this week three years ago on my honeymoon. I chartered by myself and was a little nervous about my prospects from no catch reports I heard around the resort. Boat was clean, gear average-older Penn, both the Capt & mate friendly. We were in sight of land the entire trip which was nice not having to travel 80+ miles out. Found a floating chair and tied a white boat fender to it so it was easier to see in the water. Ended up on the troll with several Wahoo and two Mahi, lost 500+ Blue Marlin due to broken leader. Capt stayed out a little longer looking for another Marlin bite. I had a a great time at the Sandals we went to and would fish with Capt Mikes for a full day next time.
