Default Has anyone read this book?

"The Complete Kayak Fisherman" by Ric Burnley
I just ordered it and was wondering if guys with experience would recommend it as a reference. I know nothing about kayaks but I'm seriously considering buying one. I'd like to know some basics before making a purchase. Thanks.

He didn't have the look of an American tourist at all about him. Not a camera on him; what was worse, not even a fishin' rod." -Fr. Peter Lonergan

I just sent you an email about a great site dedicated to kayak fishing. BTW, I got a yak a few years ago and really love it.

Yes its a good book, but I've learned more by joining and participating in on line kayak fishing forums. Theres lots of them out there, just google kayak fishing forums.

From what I have witnessed most of these guys are more than happy to answer any and all your questions, or search these forums cause most of your questions have already been asked.

You will learn more by doing a fishing demo with me in the spring then from any book. Just call in March when the water temps are comfortable for you.

Excellent book! Well written, and funny too. Look for videos with him as well. He and another guy fish the CBBT and it's a geat vid.
