    Default Charlestown NorthEast River

    Anybody know if the public ramp has reopened in Charlestown, and also is the river open water yet? I'd like to go down tomorrow and give it a try for perch or crappie. Thanks!

    i went thru there last weekend, still had a barge with crane/pile driver setup on it. Ramp was barricaded. Most of the river was iced in, but that probably changed over the last few days. Stemmer's run is open, but messy (sand, debris on the ramp). Perch bite is on right now!

    I was down yesterday, the ramp is open, but there was still alot of loose and skim ice around. Probably be fine by Sat with this warm weather.
