    Default rod question

Some of the rods are starting to show wear specifically on the wrapping and guides and the foam on the grip.
Do any local shops redo or overhaul a rod and if so is it reasonable or are you better off buying new because the cost is close when done. All rods are aftco rollers and detachable unibutts.
    8 50 outfits and 4 80 outfits

thanks for any replys and help

    most shops do redos.
    i do them.
but it take time to strip then rebuild.
it is easier to just build new, rather than strip
you may only be saving the cost of new parts.( blank, maybe guides).
but may eat that up with the stripping of old parts

strip them down yourself and take them to someone to redue if there willing it sounds like it is just the fore grip and guides if it has a unibut and any wrapping that you would like
