    Default Rod blanks

Ok need some help here from the jig fisherman out there. i am looking for blank that will fit my needs. I want a 8 ft conv blank for jigging small to medium fish, like tiles, smaller cod and such. I have a accurate 270 to put on it. I have a 8ft pac bay wraped that i have been using but the rod is a lil heavy for this. I bought 2 blanks from Kil the cosmetic 8 foot that im putting a torsa on. What blank for say fish to maybe 50 lbs max do you suggest. i like them light and not bulky. My buddy just wrapped the new calstar rods that came out in 9 foot that he cut a foot off of. nice rod but i dont think its what im looking for. I also have a 7ft 30-80 grafier wrapped that is nice but want something light. what do you think.

    i just did a 7'10" batson.
    worked great for seabass,
    great for 6-12oz
they have a higher rated model.
    light and nice power.
great for 6- to maybe 20oz

i just did a amtac prototype. 8' for exactly what you want.
the lami cgbt i use is nice for that also.
    a calstar 850 or 900m cut

seeker csb909 cut..they are a little heavy,,but nice for bigger fish

how bout a honey lami cut to about 16 tip.

batson blank (5.30oz) rated 25-45# with titanium frame guides and cork grip i did..will go for appox 375 custom built.

i think it will be good for sm/mid size cod.
the mate thought it was perfect for seabass jigging

it is not really a steady 30#-50 cod rod.

the heavier blanks may be good for bigger cod.
    blank weight 7.60oz rated 25-60#.

the 270 would be great on it.
    stop over and try it.

if you like i can build one.
    or
you could probably take this one
