    Default Greenlane Res 8/3

Fished Greenlane res this morning with strike king. Flipped cover for about an hour. Strike king's bait of choice was a Reaction innovation sweet beaver and I was throwin a strike king football head jig tipped with a yum chunk. Water was a little stained from the rain yesterday. Caught 4 bass total.

Strike king started off the trip with this nice 2lb smallie.

After that i pulled in this 3lb 10oz chunk.

Then we each got another 2lb lm.

Way to poke some nice chunks guys

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

Thanks. That fish helped a little to heal the pain from the whupping the fish gave us up there.

Whenever you get a chance, do you think you could email me the picture of my 3lber from our double header.

That 3 fought harder than all of my 4s from this year, he stayed down and and took some drag. I would guess the fight was around a minute. I was surprised at the size when I saw it, thought it was much bigger.

    Thats fine, no rush.

Can't really complain about the fishing with the conditions we had, just not as good as some other years.

Saw mud lines all over there around the 663 bridge. Did you fish the edges?
