Made the decision this am after dropping kids off to school to fish. Called Hinches-they have bait so we are off
Not feeling the greatist-got what my daughter had sans fever so no breakfast or lunch and only 1 lemonade icetea form wawa.
get to hinches, get the fresh and notice I forgot a hat-pick up a very nice OFF the Hook hat. Load boat and off we go.
Spot 1-drag hook 4 times andf decide try spot 2 to see if can get hooked. Boat didnt start at 1 point-jiggled teh kill switch and she cranked over
Spot 2-drag hook 3 times and give up-great marks too
Heading in make a few calls and decide to borrow buddies anchor past Miss chris dock. Look at achor and decide just park at free ramp-run over to Tonys and pick up a 13lber.
Head back out to spot 2 with tide still going out and throw hook-slammed it into botom and we are fishing at 11am
11:30 new rod with a circle jerk doubles over/no drag pays out and hook pulls. Didnt think the lever drag was that tight but I gues it was
Make a last ditch move at 1 cause I gotta get home by 3:30
Anchor dropped and hooked at 1:20 and 1st fish on by 2-36" caught by my cuz and the second at 2:25-5 minutes till pull out time. My cuz catches teh second 41" 31 lbs and off to the dock.
Not bad for a last second trip and the troubles we had
