    Talking

Left Port Norris at 630 in search of the striped ones. Considered going north but we decided south was the place to be. Made our way out to one of our favorite spots way down south but we didn't mark any bait or stripers. Quick talk and we decided to try spot #2. Well it worked out for the better, within 45 mins we had a 38" in the boat and we were set in battle with another. After about a 10 minute fight we got the 42" boat side and in the net. So we were 2 for 2 that quick and contemplated heading in to watch football, but then the FEVER kept us out there. I called Rottn' Capt who made the 3 mile hike from where he was. He brought Matey with him and they set up on both sides of us. After about another hour Matey was hooked up with what they said was a decent fish, bent the hook and all. Then it was our turn again within 20 minutes we caught and carefully released 2 one was 38" and the other went 46". We didn't want to use the bonus tags with a few tournys in the next couple weeks. After that Ron boated a 43" cow. Well we did one more bait change then headed home. Water was 25' temp was 58. All in all a good day on the water. Talked to Partnership, Rodfather, Ron R., Rottn' Capt, Matey and a few others.

Can't wait til next week, I have a pretty rough schedule fishing Tues nite, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait. I've got the fever!!!!!

Mike, first off let me say thanks for the call to come over to your spot. Hope i get to return the favor someday soon. Too bad on the hook deal. Never seen one bend that far and not break.
I might try to go wednesday again.

Good trip Mike. We were behind you heading out but we went a little north. All shorts I did hook-up with one nice fish for about 5 min but the hook pulled about 20 ft from the boat. And be also boated to seagulls that got caught in the lines.

    Mike,

Thanks for the call... You saved our day bro!

We went 1 for 1 at 43" and 29.1#'s. I can't believe we even had that one fish with the poor bunker we had.

    Thanks again...
