Anyone hearing about threshers in the bunker schools? I'm getting out in the kayak saturday morning and hoping to hook into something bigger than the boat.

The Threshers caught last year were June and July as far as I know of.
Ya, i didn't see them til June. The last hook up i saw the thresher was tail-walking for a good 50 yards before the angler broke off, that would be nuts in the yak!
June, july, august, september I was catching them commercially 2 miles off the beach. As long as the bunker and croakers are around the threshers will be around.

Threshers love bunker and croakers, so they're around ,schooled up, the Threshers will follow.
You always stand a chance of having a 300# shark land in your lap, those threshers like to jump, but that's what makes life interesting.
