Left the Fort with my father and a friend to try for fluke..At the first stop the water was so dirty you could see the clouds of mud and big particles floating....Made a drift for about 3/4 of a mile with no hits..Picked up and headed south in search for cleaner water...Fished around the stakes and all we caught were shorts, nothing even close....I moved back north figuring with the incoming water it would have cleaned up a bit and it did...No fish again on the drift....weird.. and I was moving good too...So I went out towards the channel and found some shorts and managed 2 keepers at 18.5 inches...I covered many miles of water and tried everything in my bag of tricks.... around 40 shorts today and 2 keepers...not a good start...
