Regretfully, I have to tke my name out of the hat here. I've had the flu for a week or so and coated the lures last night in haste and ruined both of them. I'm really bummed. The paint jobs were awesome but I messed them up bad last night. Haste makes waste.

Dave, how bad is the finish? If you post what the problem is maybe we can help you salvage the plugs. Keep in mind, the fish really dont care about pretty

Fluki, they are fishable but they ain't gonna win no contests. Problem with how I set up my two part drying motor and I had to recoat them because the epoxy all went to one side. Lots of air bubbles and inconsistencies. I'll fish them for sure. Thanks

I didn?t see this thread till today. About my plugs the serious one is called ?BS?. Stands for ?Black on Silver? or what I thought of the reflective paint I put on top of the silver before the black. The other is the ?Cigarafishionado? or the ?ML? for Mr. Clinton?s friend Monica. Brian thanks for coming up with this idea. It has been a great way to spend some of the winter months getting ready for the next season, trouble is, I can?t seem to stop! As for letting Bill be the judge that?s fine by me. Great work everyone!! I?d like to see those that didn?t get finished anyway. It?d be good to see what you?ve done so far.
If it wasn't for the last minute a lot of things wouldn't get done.

By the way the tail on the "cigarafishionado" is made of elk hair with red thread for the tip. First time I tried something like that too.

Bill, thank you for taking the time to do this for us.

Thanks to all that participated in the contest. It was allot of fun and may have uncovered some new plug builders. I know I had a good time doing this and learned allot in the process. Lets keep up the good work and sharing it with the rest of the members.

To the winners, please send me your address so I can get your prize out to you.

I pray that I may live to fish.......
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.
