3-28 cold as a ......but fish

OK FINALY WENT ON FIRST TRIP.although it wasnt my boatlol. hopped on a charter with some guys on the hunter out of capemay,yes capemay and we drove all the way back to the area where all the others were fishing.saw hooker and margaritiville out there also.margaritiville looked like a pro out there solo. my man had six rods set out at once i was impressed.lol.anyway i fished last nov n dec but this was by far the coldest day on water i can remember,bbbrrrr!!!!.we caught 13 keepers and 3 throwbacks.wind was rippin and on way back to capemay waves built pretty big.i cant spot burn because i cant.lol but everyone was in same area.P.S.i learned those circle hooks suck as far as hooking in mouth. every fish but one was gut hooked.i witnessed with my own eyes. i used a j mine also was and one wasnt. anyway i wasnt impressed.the only good thing was for guys not dead sticking they still stayed hooked up.

circle hooks are garbage imo. we used big j hooks and hooked up pretty damn good. only had one gut hook but it was on a 32 in fish and was easy to get out.one fish was hooked in threw the corner of his mouth out through his mouth and back in it again. it was like the hook was sewn in....weird. good job getting on the meat and sticking out the cold.

Yes it was cold!!! You probably had heat and a microwave on that boat though. You coulda curled up on the couch with a blanket and hot coffee....haha. That's an awsome boat....nice job on the keepers...

jeez you guys are crazy wont catch me out in the water in this winter Blast
im still waiting on spring feels like mid janruary but once it warms up to 50s i will be out there with hooker if he has the room

ok now hooker so MAYBE THERE WAS HEAT AND MICROVAVE BUT ONCE I SET UP ROD NEVER WENT BACK IN EXCEPT TO GET A BEER. EVEN RODE ALLTHE WAY BACK TO THE CAPE OUTSIDE . OF COURSE IT WAS FOLLOWING SEA WIND PUSHIN,LMAO BBBRRRR.
