When you don't hear anything it usually means the fishing is good

It's still early. The cold weather might have delayed the run. They need a cirtian temperature to spawn in the runs or the river.
When it's cold herring take the attitude "We just can't rush into these things!"
Ifthey spawn in too cold a water temperature,the eggs die. Not good.

i was down in march at big moon. fish were sporadic,wouldnt hit nothin.only nets.than got into workin on boat and havent been down.there werent all that many when i was there .went 3 days on either side of moon.usualy we here more like the guys gettin caught with to many.thanx
If you know what the rancocas creek is...they are up in there. Bass too...not to early at all, kinda late
