I dont even know where to start. With fresh clams, calm seas and cold beer taking? A day off seemed like a great idea. Only 1 problem. The fishing was bad. We tried every where from ep to cape may along the flats in search of the schools of bass. We only got 1 keeper bass @ 30 inches. We didnt catch a fish until 20 minutes before packing up because a hurricane was rolling in and had wind against tide.

Im going to fish the river now untill drum season.

Thanks for the report. Same as my first trip last week except one spot only out 4 hours. Good luck up river and drumming.
