about to pull the trigger on a star stellar lite.......if throwing 1-3 ounce wood poppers, metal lips, needles, etc. would you go with a medium or medium heavy? i also have plastics and metals i want to throw with it as well. i have a mh now and feel as if its too stiff but on the other hand i handled mediums in a store and didnt feel as if i could cast a 4 ounce danny with it.
forgot to mention its a 9ft and being paired with a penn battle 5000

i went with the MH, we shall see.....
im sure its just as good of a rod, prob just a little bit stiffer. may be able to get the extra weight out there a little better with it. be sure to post up a review on it..and also on the reel. im looking into a battle , either 3000 or 4000 for an old abu conolon that im having stripped down and rebuilt
