Fished the Great Kills Harbor/RB Area from 6:35am to 9:30am. When we left port at around 6:10-15ish, we couldn't see a thing. It was so foggy out that we could only see about 20 yds ahead of us. We dodged boats, logs, and buoys! We also almost collided with the TowBoat US boat. If you guys plan on heading out today, be careful with the fog.
Anyway, we used bunker and while I was cutting some chunks, we saw and heard bluefish and bass splashing around us. When they ignored our bunker, we decided to throw some lures and troll. Bluefish and bass were still splashing and according to the fishfinder, we had readings of bait and fish. We did not get any hits on the troll so I decided to let us drift and we had a steady speed. We got no fish today but all in all, it was fun and exciting.

I'll tell him have you been out???
Good job on the blues. We should be getting them by now. According to my logbook, I got them at around the 1st of May in several spots. Good luck and I'll be making more reports(with fish, hopefully) guys! Thanks!
