    Attention all fishermen!

If you have a four wheel drive pass and fish in brigantine!!

Also for fishermen who live in Brigantine!!

    Please Read!!

The Brigantine council members are getting HAMMERED with phone calls from the cloisters condominium saying that they are against opening up the beach for a surf fishing beach.

Some of the council members that were for this, ( I have been told that Jim Fragoli and Sam Storino) are starting to falter in their support for the opening of the fishing beach due to the amount of phone calls they are getting against opening a fisherman beach.

If you want a place to fish in the summertime in the years ahead, please make a call to the council members stating that you are in favor of the proposal too open up a fisherman’s beach. State that you pay for a four wheel drive pass!!

If you are a home owner of Brigantine, please call your councilman and let them know you are in favor of this proposal and that you are a home owner!

AGAIN – whether you own a home in Brigantine or not – please call the councilmen and tell them you are for the Brigantine beach committee’s proposal to open up a fisherman’s beach in Brigantine

Phone number for city hall is 266-7600 enter zero to get the receptionist and leave a message or a voicemail message for all council members that you can!!

Mayor Phil Guenther ext #0 leave message with receptionist
    Sue Schilling ext #321
    John Murray ext #320
    Bob Solari ext #322
    Rich Casamento ext #323
    Sam Storino ext #324
    Jim Fragoli ext #325

The Cloisters residents have put out flyers with the councilman’s names and home phone numbers on them!
And they are getting a lot of calls!!

Thanks longcast, I've been contacted by Michael Moore the attorney for the RFA and they will once again be at our side dealing with the polititions, tree huggers and general nit-wits. Apparently they are passing out a lot of misinformation and outright lies telling local residents that once this beach is designated a "fishing beach" THEY WILL BE PROHIBITED from using it and the 4wd vehicles will be a danger to them and their children. As this is just going to be for a "trial period" to see how it works I just don't understand why people can't just wait and see how things go and then make a decision based on facts rather than panic tails and distortions that will never materialise. After all we want is to be able to fish and be left alone on a small section of beach that according to the township beach comittee and police is the most unused beach on Brigantine Island. The comittee meeting for a vote will be on Wed Feb 4th at 530pm so if you can make it we need all the voices we can get. Thank you for your support. Phil

Brig's city councle just doesn't get it I guess they want to drive the local's out of biz.ie. tackel shops, marena's,ect. It's a chain reaction that will be hard to stop. Just wait next they will try to ban surfing because they could run over some young kid who's parents let go swimming with out supervision, but it wouldn't be their fault they wern't there! SO LETS ALL CALL AND BUG THE CR** OUT OF THEM and remind them they are ELECTED oficals.

Since I am unable to attend the meeting I have faxed (609-266-3823) a letter to Brigantine in support. I have asked that a copy to be placed in each of their mail boxes. Hope this helps.
