FISHING REPORT--DAYTONA BEACH AREA

Fished just about every day. Slow pick first week fishing mostly at High Bridge in North Volusia County at Border with Flagler County about 10 miles north of Daytona Beach.

First week caught mostly Whiting on shrimp bait. Blew most of week NW ocean mostly flat.
When winds shifted to East Southeast fishing picked up.

Second week just before Easter ventured to New Symrna Beach Federal Park near Cape Caniveral. Had bang up 3 days of fishing with wife on real nice Pompano and huge bull Whitings and tailer blues just using fresh shrimp baits on Pompano rigs.

Returned to NJ this week and hoping for a great season this year on the little devils, those kingies.

My parents are coming back tonight from daytona. They just settled on two condos on the ocean there. Hope to make it down there sometime to try the fishing out there. Thanks for the report
