Ran out at 11:00 to get in on the afternoon bite again. On the way out Manasquan heard about a great morning bite to the south. We stuck to the plan and made bait outside the inlet and headed north to my favorite spring spot. Same place as tuesday. Took a while but about 20 minutes into the first drift we got hammered. We drifted across the motherload of bass. Went 6 for 8 on that drift.
Headed inshore a bit to get some fresh live ones. Then it happened!!!! Started with one snagged bunker taken even before we knew it. Total Mayhem for the next 4 hours Monster bass crashing the bunker schools. It was some of the most epic fishing I have ever witnessed. Every fish came up with 6 or 8 others around them.
We ended the day taking 3 fish and released about 20 Biggest was around 40lbs and 48 inches.
