Took the wife down hopin to catch "something" Fished 8-11am. Got 2 shorts(both were 23") both on clam. 8 other rods in the water around me and the only other critter caught was a stargazer by my uncle. weeds were a problemand heard it got worse as you went north. fished the Harvey Cedars surf. Then took the wife to Gateway for lunch and then to AC for some gambling...lost a couple beans at harrahs
but won a couple beans at borgata
. stopped and got some nice blueclaws so im about to have surf & turf(crabs & steak) for dinner. dont want anybody thinking were having fresh striper!
Both bass were released alive and well.
I've got a couple more days off so im headin back down as soon as i can. i'll keep ya posted.
