With reports of North winds through Monday my plan was to fish 1pm to 7 to catch the wind with the tide. Nice ride out but when I got to structure it was still coming in. I set up for the outgoing figuring eat lunch make some rigs...etc. It never turned. After 1.5 of waiting for tide to trump wind I pulled anchor and reset boat and got a steady dose of Stripers. Most were in the 24" range with some beef to them. 1 @ 27.5 that kept my hopes up. 1 tog @ 13.75 that I measured 5 timesat all angles trying to make it 14" but back in the drink it went.
I'm gonna get that tog before the big boys move in.
Called it quits around 5:15. Steady dose of 2-4's. Saw diehardfishermen, happyflappy, and bt3100 today.
Happyflappy banged another sheepshead and diehard will prob post.

Its more about getting setup right. Can't fish by the clock. Def gotta try and catch wind with tide. TRY that is...haha. 3 reports called for North winds till Monday and when the tide turned so did the wind.
