    Default Trout Help

Went out trout fishing after a local lake has been stocked. Many trout were jumping out of the water and purpoising but none of them biting. I would of thought it was me except everyone was experiencing the same thing. How long does it take for trout to get acclimated once the lake has been stocked?

for me its been like a day to a week
they were probly eating flies too
try a nightcrawler or powerbait right after its stocked because there scented and they can find them
once the trout figure out whats going on usually spinners are the ticket

It really can vary. You might also notice some going into spawning behavior by the males chasing females around
