Atlas 200, Avet SX, Canyon HS15. We carry them all and have them at the shop if you want to compare..

Out of about 220 ++ Atlas reels we have sold, I think Ive heard of about 5 of them that had issues... Not sure what happened but I do know Bobby Replaced them without a problem..

I still have my original atlas 200's for 3 years ago and never had an issue.. Avets are great reels as well.

Heres a pic of my Atlas 200

Buy American when possible, love the Avets. the best thing Atlas did was come out with the Atlas 200. Avet was looseing alot of sales to them since their SX and MX were priced about $60 or $70.'s higher, Avet dropped their prices to match Atlas, which was a huge price drop. I bought 3 Avets right after that and love them. Thank you Atlas. I have nothing bad to say about Atlas reels since I've never used one, the people I know who have are happy with them, I did hear of a few that needed repairs but they seem tobe a good reel, I just like buying American and have very good success with all the Avets we have the Ex-30 2-speeds we've used for sharking and tuna fishing for several years, the Hoo-x I use for my heavy jigging reel, as well I chunked with it, I'm a big Avet fan.

If you talking a size 16/17 like you find on a baticaster...then no. But they do make replacement feet to fit it to a standard trigger foot.
