    Default FISH STIX - The Crazy Crew for Stripes 6/18

    Today we had the boys from Pleasure Bay Yacht Basin out of Oceanport, NJ. Broke the inlet early (5:15am) and everything looked great once again. Had a fish on in minutes. 1 or 2 run offs after that. Worked the bait for a while then made a move. Couple drifts then 2 nice ones on. Lost a few more and a couple run offs. Worked pods for hours hoping for a pick. Another day of tough fishing. TONS OF BALL BUSTING! Should have had a video camera! Seems to me the stripes are biting super super early. Couldnt even get the clients to the boat that early. Off tomorrow for maintenance. See what the week brings us!

    I hear you with the early bite. If you aren't on them by 5am you missed out. Once the crowd shows call it a day, or play with blues on top water plugs. We love that on my boat!!!
