Is naming posted numbers(reef sites) a spot burn?

I guess if one doesn't say that they caught the fish in the "western hemisphere" off the east coast of the United States it's a spot burn

I truely dislike the whole "spot" issue, I understand it, follow it, but to me it goes against all the tenants of sportsmanship.

When one is standing on the dock and we both have fish and one barner asks the other, "Where'd you get 'em" and the other barner says "in the ocean"....well that guy is a douchbag in my opinion and I have no time for a person like that!!!

I also have a hard time with this subject. I guess it will be anothe 145 post thread?? I dont get it and never will. Where we all fish daily, will be and has been fished before. But I will respect the issue on this sight. I still say most shops give up spots on their web sites daily. But they are in buisness and I get that as well.
