Default Fishing Pier Ocean city NJ

I was wondering if anybody has used the new Fishing Pier and was wondering what you thought about it?
    Thanks, Ralph

If your referring to the pier on the 9th st bridge it is decent. It is an upgrade from the longport pier, with some deeper water. I fished it a few weeks ago during the day. The pier had 30 anglers on it, not a single one caught a fish. Give it a shot at night when the boat traffic, and other anglers are out of the way.

    Good luck!

The tide really rips through there
We fished one night and the lights were not lit yet
We only caught one striped cusk eel
Some folks said that they saw bass caught there earlier in the season
I'm not sure if I have confidence it that spot since I prefer being closer to the banks of the bay

I've caught a few keeper fluke there and do better when the tide is ripping through there. I fish Gulp on a jighead and cast up into the current and bounce the lure back to me. It's busy fishing since you're constantly casting and retreiving, but it does pay off.
