    Default orleans, cape cod report

fished on the lisa marie with capt. chuck gallagher.....unbelievable striper fishing slight troll with bucktails and stainless steel line..stripers were thick on the bottom...beautiful place to fish and the scenery was spectacular, ....we limited out in 30 minutes..literally 20-25 lb stripers on every cast..my first time there and it will not be my last...if you ever get to fish the cape jump on it

they shut the beach down in orleans the day before we went out...the great whites are becoming a real problem up there..the seal population is huge and the whites come in and gorge themselves on them...

Unbelievable that you posted an actual fishing report.

    Congrats!

The great whites aren't a "problem". Their numbers are finally returning after being put to the brink of extinction. I for one am excited their making a comeback. Its a sign of a healthy ocean

what i meant by a "problem"..is due to the increase in seal population the great whites are coming closer to shore therefore the recreational swimmers are on high alert.....i agree with you i'm glad they are making a comback....i just ain't going swimming.....
