    Default Grassy Sound Tournament Results?

Overshadowed by the Duke of Fluke but Grassy Sound held tournament same day. I could not find any results on this one. Does anyone have any info on size of winning fish and number of boats entered?

I fished the Grassy Sound tourney, not sure how many boats but the biggest flounder was either 4 or 5 pounds might have been a 15 or 20 fish weighed I didnt have any keepers so dont hold me to these numbers i was half payin attention. A couple really nice weakies though!!! One thing I did notice was at least 3 short flounder brought to the scale they were not weighed but what is the deal with that? Me and a couple other guys thought it was total BS. This was my first tourney, is that a normal thing? I think the punishment should be more than the fish not counting some sort of fine or 1 year ban something!!! Cool event good food and beer after and a fun friendly event I would do it again.

    Default Grassy Sound

Thanks for the reply. I was going to enter this tourny for the first time but I could not make it down this weekend. I used to enter the Duke of Fluke which is the best run tournament ever. But, I am limited to back bay with my small skiff and cannot compete with the Old Grounds and Reef runners anymore. A few years ago there were a lot more quality fluke in the back and once I even got the five heaviest in the Duke. But not a chance at that for the past four or five years. This Grassy Sound Tourny seems like it is made for back bay fishers. I hope to give it a shot next year.

This year would have been the year for me to do it. 2 keepers every trip, and they were all 20 in plus. I don't remember the last time that i saw this many large fish left in the back this late in the season after being pounded to 2 months. usually the 25-30 to 1 keeper ratio kicks in a little before the 4th. Or maybe, I'm just awesome now.
