4 spot on fish bites
Nailed pob 18-20 cocktail to slammer blues on crock spoons and kastmasters at dawn on incoming tide till water got too rough to hold jetty position safely.Swithced to tapdancer rig-3/8oz bucktail w/white mullet and shrimp teaser and bounced bottom - got into short flounder and keepersized weakies to about 20"- all released. Switched to the yak at slack and drifted for about 10 decent sized shorts and a BIG runnoff that towed me a bit then broke off-probly a ray but tons of fun. left em biting at outgoing. Decent summer mixed bag with plenty of action!nothing for dinner but whats a 'po boy gonna do
mid island LBI this morning.
8am-10am. 5 kingfish and 25+ spot.
all on fishboites(bloodworm).
wife and kids had fun. 2 rods was plenty. kept me busy.

Ocean City 7-9 incoming tide. Fishbites. A few spot for cut bait. 1 blue small 2 dogfish. 3 weakfish. Tons of hits. All small fish. Caught weakfish on fish bites with spot strips.
Fished incoming at sandy hook 12 short flounders on bucktail
Fished strathmere area this morning no flounder on my white red or black bucktails with squid..But i had a sea bass and a nice baby shark..
Got out at LBI with the lady, surf city area, fished incoming tide last nite, we got 29 spot, 1 blue, 1 king on fishbites lots of doubles, very steady action, lots of brownies out there, We were bringing in spot and they were hittin them and biting them in half, happend 3 times, tried tossin a line for them, got alot of hits but no hook ups, its hot out there guys

Hopped around CM Jetties yesterday. It felt like we started a little late on the morning incoming, but was still able to get a couple quick small keeper weakie and one nicer fluke that might have kept. Got a handful of other shorts, steady action. Saw a huge bunker blitz in the afternoon that was in metal casting distance but only managed a snag, no blues. Fished the incoming again in the evening and started with a couple quick small keeper weakie, then got mauled by the thickest pod of short weakie I've personally even seen... every cast for about an hour. towards the end of the daylight the bite included a few fluke, perch and snappers.
Mixed up bucktails/jigs/gulp and teasers with pretty good success with all of them. White/yellow/pink, not real picky. All fish released. Real fun day.
Hooked in to and broke off the biggest shark I've ever encountered today...also got 8 fluke this morning in LBI, 3 keepers to 20"

fished sat during the day while spending time with family on the beach. gaurds are nice enough to let me fish between swimming areas.3 kings on fish bites, tons of spot in the truagh between beach and first bar. me with no sabiki rig !used kings for shark bait sat night. 1 30-40# and njduckslayer had a good run of with tackle failure.pretty slow night.what is the opinion on when the browns move out? water temp, calander, moon phase??
