    Default 3 days till Curiosity land on Mars

    Pretty bold landing technique....

    Keeping my fingers crossed for a safe landing because the landing site and the science that the rover will be able to do should be incredible.
    Best part about this rover is its nuke powered. Plenty of juice and don't have to worry about solar panels getting dusty. I've been follwing the other rovers that have been up there daily.....opportunity is the only one still "alive"

    My wives cousin worked on the computer program for the mars lander, he explained the landing technique for this one to me and I was totally amazed. The ship is going to hover over mars

    I was watching the video and it seems that when the heat shield pops off and the thrusters start firing for the hover it looks like the rover might get damaged by the engines.Did anyone notice that or am I missing somtin.

    I bought the 3-d glasses and when you look at the 3-d pics from the other rovers it seems as if you can reach into your computer screen and actually pick up a rock....cool as shit.............

    hope they make a safe landing!!!!!!!!!!! sunday eve...at 13000 mph to O in 7 min

    Cool sh!t man,Good ol American pride runs through me when I see stuff like that. Then I get pissed when I remember How are scumbag in chief discontinued the shuttle program and cut spending to NASA in half. God I can't wait until 11/12 when a wrong will be righted. Congrates to NASA on a job well done

    I'm all for space exploration but at 2.5 billon dollars ,I wonder if that money is better spent closer to home.
