Default I'm looking for obsolete marine hardware

A friend decided to use my cutting board as a seat and broke it. I'm looking for the replacement part. I believe the part is called a hatch support bracket. It was a component on an optional seat/cutting board that was offered by Grady White back in the 90's The part was manufactured by Perko. The Perko part number is 6396. the Grady White part number is 10-241.

If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I have already contacted Perko and Grady.

    Thanks

Marine Connection Liquidators in Fort Pierce, FL is a ridiculously large warehouse full of all kinds of surplus/salvage equipment. Look them up and give them a call. They deal with measurements more than actual part numbers, but there is a solid chance they will have something that will work for you somewhere in one of their piles.

This is a shot in the dark, but sometimes it works.

Call grady and perko, and ask them for the names of companies they sold them to. You might find one laying in a parts bin somewhere.

    ToolGuy:

I already tried that. No luck

    Archie:

That's really close but it's not it. I need both ends like the top end on that one.

    Try Boat Outfitters 1-866-633-7961
They supply hardware to many of the big production boat manufactures. Give them a call, just because you don’t see what you need on their site doesn’t mean they don’t have it. Many things they sell they are not allowed to advertise. I know a few Searay guys that got parts from them; I think they deal with GW also…

Post a photo of the part, I have a couple of big boxes filled with boating HW that may work for you. You can email me thru the Barn to remind me and check out exactly what you need. Ron
