left planin on doin some scoutin for kids tourney on sat. wind was supposed to not b bad n seas 1ft or less.hahahahahah!!. at times wind was well over 15 n waves 2ft norm n bigger .lol. so went to reliable area to make sure fish were still there . they were. caught all the weakfish n blues u could want . my son battled his first cownose for 10 minutes before becoming unbuttoned 100 yrds off stern.lol. he was allover boat and even managed to miss anchor. again shedder n croaker as bait as well as spot. we used crab to catch croaker n spot and both of those to get the weakies n blues. top m beginning of tides were best but picked whole time. wind got bad and everyone raced for river. hunter still wanted to fish so we pulled in a creek and caught some slob perch,weakfish to 13 inches and rat stripers.

Good recon work, good luck in the tourney, I know you have high hopes. I would be right there with you, and I tried to get my nephew to go on my boat with his five yr old, but the poor kid is stuck with his mother that day, ha lol
