Ibsp had a feeding frenzy on the 16th at ibsp during the day on bunker 50 yards off the beach. Check out the youtube video i posted in the surf fishing main forum page!!! You could see the sharks jumping out of the water UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!
-
I was wanting to catch sharks myself most of the time i fish alone. Is it ok if your careful? must you cut the leader?
-
its fine alone. i unhooked a 3 footer the other day. use big pliers.
big ones..be more careful.
-
got a nasty bite about a month age trying to unhook about 3.5 ft brown. lunged just as i had needle nose on the hook. blead like a stuck pig for about half an hour! good chum though! always look for the silver lining
-
ok cool, how far south do i have to go to get sharks, im far north (hudson county) and i usually hit sandy hook. I hear alot of you guys talk about IBSP and LBI can you hit any beaches north of these
-
yes. south is just USUALLY better. stay away from jetties...the one i landed last night was 150 yards north of where i hooked it...and that was after i went south when i first hooked it.
