As a Dolphins fan I wanted to see them take him in the 3 round.I like the kid in college and Jon Gruden was high on this kid in the pre draft.When Vick gets hurt and this kid comes in during the regular season you Eagle fans are going to be calling for the Dog killers head.

No Brad Goebel back-up QB in the early 90s...I think the year the Eagles went 10-6 with the fantastic defense and missed the playoffs he got a start in a winnable game against TB and completed 1 pass. In the preseason he lit it up. People were going nuts.
I remember liking Detmer for his smarts but he had a noodle arm.
Do you remember how close the Eagles came to getting Mark Brunell (before his prime in 1994)???
