Picking up a girl the other night to chill...first time ever chillin with her..Well.....haha....I get outside of her house..she comes out and her dog also comes flyin out the house...she opens the car door and the dog jumps in my car....hops into the backseat and im tryin 2 get this dog outta my car.....Next thing I hear is the dog screaming......i had a yozuri crystal minnow in the backseat and the treble hooks went through the dogs paw...(all 3 hooks)...the other end was stuck in the seat..I didnt know what 2 do!!!!She runs inside and gets her dad...Now her mom an dad are in my car arguing About how much pain the dogs in..They took the dog and the lure inside and got it out in their.....I felt bad but couldnt help laughing..it was crazy

BK OR ANYBODY---IF THE WATER TEMP WOULD REMAIN IN THE MID 40'S OR EVEN IF IT DON'T ARE YOU ALLOWED TO CATCH AND RELEASE IN THE BACK IN JAN. AND FEB?THERE WERE GUYS DOING IT WITH FLOUNDER LAST SPRING SO I ASSUME YOU CAN DO IT WITH BASS??

bk-glad to hear you hooked into some cat to go with the dog.

one time my old cat got ahold of a rainbow trout rapala (still on the rod). we heard the drag singing while we were out on the porch and ran in to find the line strung about 75 feet from the den thru the kitchen, down the hall, and into my sister's bedroom under the bed. the cat would not come quietly so we had to wrap her in a blanket and take her to the vet, removed one treble from a paw and one from the side of her belly. my dad made sure to have the vet save the lure, replaced the trebles and caught many more bass. we never worried about leaving rods out again. cats are only stupid once.

BJ-my assumption is that you cannot target them out of season, even for c&r, so have some winter flo rigs ready in case of static should you choose to do so. i mean, it's only a couple months, cantcha give 'em a break? it's time to hang out with our families so they can remind us why we love fishing .
