Just thought I'd deflect a little from the Dry Dock and be the first fire starter in the new forum.

I am actually looking forward to the Wildman's posts on his river adventures when they start.

I WILL NEVER OWN HIP BOOTS AGAIN!!!!!!! They are a real P.I.T.A! Waders by far..

They both have their place. I own both. 5 mm neprenes are great now and into the spring but they get pretty hot when wading small streams towards summer and the hippers come in handy when lauching the boat off of dirt ramps with no docks.

The cloghoppers were in a few arses today. Go take a tour of the Dry Dock and consider yourself lucky you are anchored in here.

I wear sweat pants under the jeans and then the breatherless waders are the way to go. Light as paper so don't wear old men out when they are catching the weakies in the spring.

i have a pair of orvis guide waders. They far exceed any other brand. They may be more money but matched with a good boot such as henry forks you have a lasting outfit that is comfortable, strong, warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Even with me screwing around you got it easy Craig. Remind me to tell you about moderating the waterfowl board.

Let's just say after doing that I'm glad Ron nevre asked me to help out over here!
