I like the monster senko 7" in black w/blue flake.
Only thing is 1 fish per senko! I rig them weedless cast out kick back relax and watch that line. I remeber when they first hit the market me and my buddy where practically fighting over them in the boat. 1 bag between the two of us.
I fish these two ways:
Deadstick when the bite is tough.
Jerkbait when the fish are more active, they have some great action when you jerk them through weeds and laydowns.
I like darker colors in low light and dingy water and lighter colors (watermelon/Char.) when clearer water.
I like watermelon 5" wacky rigged - they are killer!!!!!!!
I like the 5" pumpkin/chartruse, Texas or wacky rigged, depending on th cover. I did good last year also on a crazy color called "Sweet potato pie" I was able to win a lunker award in a local tournament last year with it.

Watermelon-weedless-5 inches-I have had success casting next to structure (docks, rip-rap, and trees in water). Also I have found them deadly casting them to area where a tree branch is hanging just above the water.
They are versatile to say the least. Here is a tip. Secure the worm to the hook with a small doubled rubber band (orthodontic size), that way the worm slides up the line when a fish is hooked and you can catch a few on one worm. They aren't cheap ya know.

Venom Lures makes a Senko type worm for half the price. I've used them both, I find it hard to tell the difference. I'd tell you where to get them but the store isn't an BB advertiser so I don't know if I am allowed.
A few people mentioned they deadstick senkos. Just let it sit and do nothing?

I like 4 or 5" watermelon, pmpkn seed, and chartruse. I always cast them to structure, let them hit the bottom and stay there for about 20 or 30 seconds, then one twitch, another twenty second pause, then reel it in like a jerk bait. most fish come on the drop or the twitch.
I hook them first through the nose weedless(TEXAS), then after a fish or two, re-rig same senko weedless in tail (take off the hook, and turn the senko around so the chewed up part isnt on the hook anymore) then after the next fish, re-rig wacky, then its time for a new one. I can catch 3 or 4 fish on one senko for the most part. great lure for sluggish fish.

I pick plenty of em up along the banks of the lakes I fish. I'm pretty sure that no-one in this forum would be leaving them on the ground but some others...my god. I had an all out screaming match with a guy at a little pond in Camden County one time. I fished this lake from my canoe at least once a week, and just about everytime I was there this other guy was there fishing from the same spot everytime. I happened to notice him re rigging several times after catching fish, and dropping his spent worms on the ground. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he would pick em up before he left...he didnt. I went over and saw about thirty of these Senko's all over the ground, in the water, in the weeds, everywhere. The next time I saw the guy I approached him in a friendly manner, he did not appreciate it. After our screaming match, however, I didnt notice anymore Senkos on the ground.
