Anybody check out the D today? I was gonna hit it for an hour or so before work but forgot to set my alarm an hour early I'm gonna try & fish a little bit after work & was wondering if it's looking like chocolate milk or not.

The river looks like dark chocolate milk in Trenton and it's running extremely high with a lot of debris. They have closed roads on the PA side in yardly for fear of flooding.

The low tide today is at 2 PM in Trenton and it looks like it is still almost hight tide at 12:45.
I went to the power plant at lunch time and it looks like a mud pit.

The farthest south I have seen is Florence this morning and it was also running high and fast with a lot of debris.

On other words......It Stinks for the weekend and with more rain in the forcast I don't think it will be fishable anytime soon.

Yeah, I went out after work with some bloodworms and the bottom is full of dead leaves and stuff. Unfishable where I was. Rain really put a hurt in on the river, far as clarity is concern to much debris.

Weekend's forecast doesn't look good either, but perhaps some decent weather days next week! Just in time to get in my marina! Get your camera ready TS!

Yea I wound up heading out last night after work. The spot I was fishing was packed with people but the river was unfishable. All sorts of bullsh*t floating by, logs the size of cadilacs ect. It was pretty much unfishable.

    At least you got out....

I'll probably fish the unfishable this weekend for the heck of it. Maybe I'll fish Sunday in the snow

Snow? What forecast are you watching?

Up to 3" of rain Fri. night & Saturday. That river won't be good for at least a week.
Remember, theres a load of snow that still needs to melt.
