SeaCaper, Newsbuoy, Margaritaville, Mark N & son Jarett and I sailed the AM trip aboard the Stalker. Quite the dock at 7 sharp and were on the hook 15 minutes later.
Skip worked every Rip furiously...water temps were 43.5-43.9 in the AM. Calm winds & seas and remarkably clear water. Consistently marking fish...fish stacked up on some Rips....and LOTS of baitfish. Water still needs to come up a degree or 2.
8 year old Jarrod showed us ALL how it's done....he got the only fish (32.5") of the AM trip.
PM trip had SeaCaper, Newsbuoy, CaptBadfinger, BBunker, Ken and I. Set sail about 1:30 PM, on the hook by 1:45 PM, back to the dock by 5:00 PM and at Menz's Happy Hour by 6:00 PM. Wind was honking, Rips were angry and the fish had hunkered down. It was brutal in the PM!!
As stated, Skip worked his arse off for his charters but water temps need to come up. Like Skip said, the fishies and the bait are there!
