The phillies organization is embarrassing...i would love to be able to go and watch the games but Im not spending my hard earned money when the ownership is just content with mediocrity. They are far from the group we originally called the phightin' phils...ed wade should be long gone and bowa should still be in the dugout.

Their ownwership stinks there is no way we will win anything untill they sell the team. I still watch & love the Phils but I want ONE guy to own the team, not some un-named partnership. What kind of BS is that???

Jbones I wish I had the resolve that you do. They're ownership deserves an empty stadium. I can't stay away though once the season starts, especially in that new ballpark. I usually hit about 10 games a year which makes me part of the problem.

I totally agree. I love the Phillies more than any other Philadelphia sports team, but I just get more and more upset every year. The team's owners are horrible and need to sell the team before anything major will happen. Also they need to get rid of Wade. He has been there way to long without accomplishing anything. There is no reason that a team with the likes of Abreu and Thome along with decent starting/relief pitching should not make the playoffs. I am not expecting much out of them this season, but I will still go to about a half a dozen games. Hopefully we finish ahead of the Nationals this year.

Now that the birds are done I enjoy watching the Phils..even if there not very good (but I hope that changes very soon)I will be at cit. bank park opening day. I hope to see many barners there as well. GO PHILS!

The Phils need a good baseball guy at the GM spot. Someone like Billy Beane in Oakland, Theo in Boston, and John Schuerholz in Atlanta. Its not about how much money you can spend, but about getting the right pieces of the puzzle. You need warriors to win championships.

I think the Phils will end up in third behind the Braves and Mutts. They have no middle relief and an average starting staff (Wolf, Lieber, Padilla, Lidle, & Myers). And Kenny Lofton in center?? They knew they needed a CF for three years now. Same team as last year almost.
