Spoke to my bro on the phone a bit ago he said they caught fish to 40" in the rips north of a.c today, He said alot of bigger fish seem to be showing up,Did'nt get full details, when i do i'll post it.He said they had at least 30 fish.I know the cows will be here any day...thick... comming down from the Holgate area.Jiggin........
are you talking about the rip in absecon? or the "rips" SOUTH of CM?
put it to you like this
"THE COWS ARE HERE"
BROTHER FILLED IN THE BLANKS FOR ME,THE FISH ARE OFF THE BEACH 1-3 MILES BETWEEN BRANT BEACH AND BRIGHTON BEACH IN THE LUMPS/SHOALS,THEY WERE ANCHORED IN 18-23' OF WATER ON THE EDGE OF 35' JIGGIN #27'S, HOPKINS,AND CRIPPLED HERRING,4 MEN 5 HOURS 30+ BASS 3 COWS 40"-43"-45" TO 36LBS AND 10 OR MORE RELEASED OVER 30" PLUS A NUMBER OF SLOTS.
ANOTHER BUDDY OF HIS DID'NT RUN AS FAR NORTH AND LANDED A NICE 51"AND A 38" THE 51" WENT 46LBS HE HAD A NUMBER OF RELEASES TOO, BUT BEAT MY BRO'S GANG BACK TO THE DOCK BY 2 AND A HALF HOURS HE LEFT THE DOCK AT 5 AM AND WAS BACK BY 8:30. I'M STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE HE WAS I THINK I'VE NARROWED IT DOWN TO 3 SEPERATE HOLES.THESE GUY'S ARE HARD CORE FISHERMEN WHO KNOW THESE WATERS WELL, AND PROVED THAT TODAY.
THE NEXT 3 WEEKS WILL BE THE BEST OF THIS BIG FALL "RUN". I HAVE BEEN WATCHING NORADD WATER TEMPS AND THE OPTIMAL TEMP IS ALMOST AMONG US. THE MANHADEN A.K.A.-BUNKER IS WHAT MOVES THE BIG BASS THIS TIME OF YEAR AND THE BAIT MOVES WITH WATER TEMP AND BASS FOLLOW...BIG BAIT = BIG FISH
THE WATER IS 47-49 OFF NEW YORK, SO THAT TELLS ME MOST OF THE BAIT IS GONE SOUTH,WITH BASS ON THEIR ASS.TODAYS REPORT FROM THOSE GUYS CONFIRMED THAT!
JIG EM UP BOYS......
P.S.- BIRDS ARE THICK OFF BEACHHAVEN TOO.
HATS OFF TO CAPT. BLUUBOY-AND THE GANG.
