To all of oyu yakers out there...
What kind of battery are you running your fish finder on and where do I get one from. I don't want to spend a ton of money. I bought a Garmin FF 80 a couple of weeks ago and want to install it this weekend. Any info would be VERY helpful. thanks!!!
    Tight lines, Brent

Brian hit the nail on the head. Cabelas has a good deal on their battery. It's about the size of a brick, and weighs about 5 lbs. You just plug it in overnight, and you're good to go. Now, if you're looking for something by the weekend, go to a hobby shop. They all have similar batteries, and they should have chargers. I don't know what the costs will be, but use $30 as your basis for comparison. Cabelas does ship pretty quickly, so you would probably get it early next week if you ordered it today.

There was just a posting here that talked about fish finder installation on a yak. About two or three weeks ago. There is a lot of good info there. Let me know if you have any questions.
