Question Gulp sand eels as a teaser?

Has anyone tried using the gulp 5" sand eels as a teaser in front of a needlefish? If so, what color and how did you make out. Also, what hook did you use?

    Thumbs up

Haven't tried but I bet it works. Gulp flat out catches from what I have seen.

Have never even seen these 5" sandeels. Look similar to a Red Gill Teaser? If so, I agree with Mullaney, will definetaly work and probably very well.

I saw them in many colors - I bought the gray over silver, but was temped by the camo.

Haven't tried that but last week there was a lot of grass so I added a gulp minnow to the teaser and burried the hook. It kept the grass off the teaser and the lure. Red to silver fade picked up a slot in the wash.
