Last year when we shut down our aquarium we gave all the fish to the Camden Aquarium. We decided to look for another host because the Camden people are a little strange to deal with.
This year we gave them to our neighbor. The Lower Township High School was more than happy for everything we had. They have a large aquarium in school for their biology class. All fish will be released into the wild next spring when school shuts down.
Donated were. Two weakies, one searobin, two tog, two seabass, two flounder, two mullet, two porgys, two oyster crackers. two groupers, one blowfish, one grunt, one mackerel scad, one burrfish, one jack gravell, one seahorse, two bluefish, shiners and minnows.
Already looking towards next year when we start it back up. We still have the 58 gallon aquarium going and will keep it running all winter. We have heaters so water temp won't be a problem. We have a small bar jack a lookdown, a filefish and three seahorses to keep us company.
