Granted some of the bigger brand names rate better on a scale of 5 but Sea Fox rates 4 across the board with some other boats dropping to 3s at times. Rudymarine in delaware has equipped them with the new Yahma line of 4 stroke motors. Good luck either way.
I baught one in 2006. It is a 236cc with a sx200 yamaha. In six years I caught alot of fish inshore and offshore. Even raised a few whites and blue marlins. Have close to 500hours. The boat is fine. Nothing fell off or broke. You guys should be happy for the gentelman buying a boat. You guys belittle everyone who doesn't own a regulator or a contender. Maybe this is all he can afford. Quarter of these people don't own boats who make post on here. They just mooch off of other people who have the expencive boats.

If you are going to the place in Tuckerton, don't buy it. I lost almost 10k at that place. They will promise you the world and give you nothing after the purchase. A 60k boat cost me 70k when it was all said and done..

Extensive posts on this brand on THT...let me summarize...new SF are much better made than couple year old models and older. A charter captain friend of mine in South Carolina had one that practically fell apart after a season of hard use. Much better under-rated affordable boat brands are available used such as Key West, Nautic Star, Dusky, May-Craft, Parker, Sea Hunt...
