That's it, the reports are killing me. I'm going to head out Saturday night. Anybody else going to be in the OC, Somers Point area that night?

My wife put the nix on my yakkin this weekend. She has a good point. The chemo has me totally fatigued and it would be kind of stupid for me to wrestle a yak onto the van, drive down the shore, unload, paddle around and do the reverse to go home. Just walking up the steps takes all the energy that i have. I will however make it out fishing by foot sometime over the weekend. My sanity depends on it.

Al I have a spare kicker you can borrow if you change your mind. We could all meet up and keep an eye on you.

Just got back from South Florida so I guess I am spoiled and just got the yak back in September. I say the Kokatat at EMS and they were like $800. Can't one get by with dry top and dry pants? Even if you fall over...how long does it take to get back onboard? 10 seconds? Talking a Hobie Outback here.

W2F. Try running that Outback through the surf a couple times and the waves are bigger out front as you know. The surf calls. . .

What about the feet? Recommendations? At that price I might consider. I was just thinking if I bought a dry top and dry botttom that I could be all season as I could use the top once the waters warm, but still have the bottoms when it's cold. I can imagine one might sweat just a bit inside a full suit. Correct me if I am wrong...
