There was a boat sinking at the north end of CM Reef this past summer...three guys in dire need of help in a Grady White, and the only two boats that responded were the ADAM BOMB III and the STALKER II. We went right to him, helped the guy get his engine running, and got him motoring to port before his boat headed for Davy Jone's locker. Capt Chris is a great guy, and even better for helping out. However, just because you didn't read it on the Bass Barn doesn't mean it didn't happen. We saw that guy sinking, assisted the distressed vessel, and it DID NOT make headlines because the two charter boats(myself and Skip) rendered assistance. I'd help and I know Skip would help anyone at any time and to suggest that Skip wouldn't offer assistance isn't very accurate.

Adam, here is the pic from the day taken from the Stalker from Cape May reef. As you can see, No other boats around except for you and Skip, and without hesitation or pause you both went over to lend a hand!!! You are awesome captains always a pleasure to be aboard!!!!

For the record Skip did show up,he wasnt the 1st guy there BUT he did get there, and it looked like to me that the coast gaurd waved him off.i cant say that about the other yahoos that were ALOT closer to the sinking vessel then the Miss Chris or the Stalker. This is a good reason NOT to post on this board, because of all the guys who are quik to talk, and slow to help out a fellow fisherman in destress.Hats off to the two boats who did what they were suppost to do.We all can have fun out there but as i said before ....safety FIRST...

I was on the hook about 2 miles south of prissy sunday morning when this happened. I didn't know about a sinking until i read it on the barn later that night, i do know this If someone ventured into those rips on sunday morning the way it was they had better know what the f they are doing or they can put themselves and others in harmsway in a big friggin hurry. The waves off the point sunday morning where four to six foot and very close together. I know because i was there , I could see the boats in the rips in the distance and was thinking to myself you would have to be nuts to mess with those rips at that time. i also watched a 22 foot grady go past me heading to the rips around 9 am and i watched adam bomb come from the direction of the rips around 10 am. Adam you have an email

I have fished with Adam & Skip and Chris , all are very fine gentlemen that would help anybody in trouble. All are fine members of the community in Cape May. All were helpful with fishing when I ran into off the boats. Adam was even with his family. Thank you gentlemen with all your help.
