Thumbs up The best way to protect, keep clean and store rods for little $ and little time!!!

I INSTALLED ON THE CEILING AND WALL OF MY GARAGE, MULTIPLE SIZES AND LENGTHS OF PVC PIPE LINED UP NEXT TO EACH OTHER. I PUT RUBBER IN A CAP AND GLUED IT ON ONE END AND A THREADED TOP ON THE OTHER THIS WILL KEEP DUST OFF YOUR ROD AND PROTECT THEM IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY BUMPED INTO THEM. WORKS GREAT AND ITS CHEAP TO DO. THE REELS I KEEP IN AN ARMY STORAGE BOX THAT I LINED WITH CEDAR. THAT WORKS GREAT TOO! HOPE I HELPED!!!LATER

Few hours with the saw, router and sandpaper. I'm no carpenter. To lazy to stain it.

In florida people use ceiling racks so as reduce visibility...and keep the thieves away. For me that's a little too much work to get at them. BUT they do stow nicely and are completely out of the way. You can even take a rolling rod rack, and attach it to the ceiling with swivels and pulleys. Then you just lower half the rack, put in the rods, and hoist them all back up.

On the fla web site, somebody had that set up rigged with an electr. motor!!

Plastic Lattice works great. Very strong when vertically hung. The spacing naturally accepts the rods perfect.
