Default Atlantic Highlands Ramp Claims Another

Another pick up truck went in the drink today with a trailer. Lots of green slime on the ramp at low tide. Be careful guys.

Why people continue to use this ramp is beyond me. There are plenty of cheaper, less hazardous ramps in the area.

I used the free one on Atlantic ave today to splash my 25 kencraft.
I was the only one there. Yeah, it's a run to the bay, but what you burn in gas you save in ramp fees, frustration and annoyance.

Where is that "Atlantic Avenue" ramp?, I also use the AH ramp, scares the cr*p out of me sometimes. They really need to power wash that ramp more often.

Thanks, the one near the park. I forgot that was there. A bit of a hike up to the bay though. How are the water depths back there?

Yup, its true, another truck went in the other night. That is either 8 or 9. It was bizzaar, this one looked like the truck went in first as the boat was still hooked to the trailer and the boat and trailer were closer to the ramp than the truck was. I know the diver had trouble hooking up the cables as it was 6:30 pm and it was out there. From what the cops said it was the drivers work truck, I guess he has some explaining to do to the boss

Phil, I have gotten a phone call from the local PD, FD, and tow company every time a truck has gone in this year after mine sunk. Every time they call they ask the same question..."where are you?" They all call till they see my face, then they laugh

This sounds like a place to sit back with a large Wawa coffee and enjoy the show!

Isn't there another ramp in the area, a couple miles from the death ramp? Craig
